The HLA Typing Course utilizing Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) was held in the TIREX Tissue Typing Laboratory under the guidance of its Director Dr. Sebahat Akgül on November 24-25, 2023. The course was organized in collaboration with the Turkish Society for Immunogenetics TİGED and provided comprehensive theoretical and practical insights into the NGS technique in an advanced laboratory setting. We thank the speakers and the 15 colleagues from all over Türkiye for their participation and attentive engagement throughout this two-day course. The course will soon be repeated as we were not able to consider all applicants.
